This  Plum eyewash bottle  is filled with a 0.9% sodium chloride solution, which is comparable to the natural salt content in the eyes. This eyewash bottle is suitable for use in case of  mechanical injuries  (e.g. dust, dirt, metal or wood splinters) and injuries caused by chemicals other than acids and alkalis. The eyewash bottle is produced according to the safety standard DIN 12930.

An eyewash bottle is necessary when there is a risk of eye injury and there is no immediate eyewash station or running water. In case of eye injury, it is important to start rinsing the eyes within 15 seconds.
